Salvaged Brass Perko Fresnel Light – Slightly Shorter Glass Lens

This salvaged brass Perko Fresnel light features a unique, slightly shorter lens than standard models, making it a one-of-a-kind piece for anyone who appreciates authentic nautical hardware. Originally used aboard working ships, this solid brass fixture carries the marks of its past life at sea.

The clear glass lens has ribbed sides and a smooth center, a classic Fresnel design that helps focus and project light. Some lenses show chips, and a few have larger flaws, but all remain structurally solid. These lights are old workhorses, and each one shows slightly different wear, patina, and color tone—some lids have a reddish hue, others are more golden.

Each lid is marked “PERKO” and can be removed with a twist using the heavy-duty brass handle. Inside, the light has been rewired using UL-listed parts, including a porcelain bulb socket and weatherproof wiring. It’s ready to use indoors or out.

These brass Perko Fresnel lights make great gate post lights, entryway fixtures, or wall mounts in coastal and industrial spaces.

Wiring:

Each light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts. That includes weatherproof wiring, a ground wire, and a porcelain bulb holder. The light works with any voltage under 250 volts and fits a standard medium base LED or Edison bulb. Wiring exits through the base for easy mounting.
