Salvaged Brass Navigation Light – NEON-VRSAR, Rewired

Description
This brass navigation light came off a working vessel and features a 360-degree Fresnel-style glass lens. The housing carries a clear “NEON-VRSAR” stamp, showing it was made for marine use in tough environments. The lens has multiple chips from years of wear but still holds strong and secure.
We rewired the fixture with a ceramic socket, so it’s ready to use in a home or commercial setting. The round brass base has three mounting holes for stable installation. A threaded knob secures the top lid tightly, though it will detach completely when unscrewed. Years at sea left the solid brass body with a heavy, weathered patina that shows off its working history.
This piece offers real shipboard character. It’s a practical choice for nautical, workshop, or industrial-style spaces.
Features:
- Rewired with ceramic socket for standard home use
- “NEON-VRSAR” stamped housing with 360° lens.
- Solid brass construction with heavy patina
- Fresnel-style glass lens — chipped but sturdy
Wiring
This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed components, including a medium-base ceramic socket and weatherproof wiring with a ground wire. It’s rated for any voltage under 250 volts, and the wiring exits through the base. We recommend using a standard, LED, or Edison-style bulb so you can adjust the brightness to fit your space.
To access the socket, loosen the wing nut and lift the hinged lid to open the top.
