Polished Brass Ship Post Light with Green Fresnel Lens

This polished brass ship post light once served aboard a working vessel and retains its green Fresnel lens. In marine navigation, green identifies starboard, the vessel’s right side when facing the bow. The ribbed glass helped spread light across a wider area.

The polished brass retains patina, scratches, discoloration, and other marks from earlier use. The lens may also show small chips, scratches, or permanent imperfections.

Today, this fixture would look striking on a dock, deck post, porch, or exterior column. It also suits marinas, restaurants, bars, and coastal interiors.

Wiring:

• Accepts any standard medium-base (E26) bulb, including LED and LED Edison-style bulbs.
• Remove the top fasteners and lift the plate to access the bulb.
• Wiring exits through the mounting base for hardwired installation.
