This Clear Neon Vrsar Brass Post Mounted navigation light is an authentic marine fixture salvaged from a working vessel. We professionally rewired the light for safe residential or commercial use. The top of the housing clearly displays the “Neon-Vrsar” maker marking.

Navigation lights play a key role aboard ships because they indicate position and direction. Red marks the port side. Green marks the starboard side. Meanwhile, clear or white lights remain visible from all directions and typically mount high or at the stern.

The fixture uses solid brass construction and has a substantial feel. It weighs approximately 17 pounds and retains original marine surface wear. The clear Fresnel glass lens remains in good condition; however, it shows small chips and scratches from years of service at sea.

This post-mounted light works well on docks, seawall pilings, and marina entrances. It also fits coastal homes as an entry light or architectural accent. The heavy brass construction allows for both interior and exterior placement.

Wiring

This light has been rewired with new UL-listed components. It includes a medium base socket and a ground wire, rated for use under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard LED or LED Edison bulb so you can control brightness for your space.

To access the socket, loosen the thumb screw and open the lid. The wiring exits through the bottom of the fixture via the brass post.
