This is a Clear Fresnel Lens Post Light. It is a nautical navigation port sidelight with a clear Fresnel lens. These lights are usually mounted at the bow or stern of the boat.

Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the bow or stern.

You will find on these lights a few pieces of glass that have been chipped off but, there are no cracks in the glass. The chipped glass will not hinder the way the light works. To get to the light bulb you have to use a screwdriver and unscrew the three screws then lift off.

If you are looking for a vintage, weathered post light then this one if for you!  It is small enough to place anywhere!
