Brass Ship Post Light with Clear Fresnel Glass Lens

This clear Fresnel ship post light features a solid brass body with a large ribbed glass lens. The Fresnel design helped distribute light around the fixture for improved visibility aboard a vessel.

The clear glass remains intact and has visible mold lines created during manufacturing. These lines are not cracks. However, the bottom edge has numerous chips and losses from previous use. The brass also shows patina, scratches, and marks from its marine service.

A flat brass lid covers the top of the fixture. To access the light bulb, loosen two wing nuts and slide the top to the left.

This clear Fresnel ship post light can mount on a dock post, deck railing, column, or other secure flat surface. It also makes a distinctive fixture for porches, restaurants, bars, marinas, and nautical interiors.

Wiring:

These lights have been re-wired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
