Brass Post Mounted Light With Clear Glass

This nautical brass post mounted light is a salvaged maritime fixture repurposed for everyday use. It works well in both commercial and residential spaces. MILETICH, a respected Spanish manufacturer established in Vigo in 1935, produced the clear glass Fresnel lens. They are Spain’s oldest maker of watertight electrical components for ships.

The frame or glass displays the MILETICH name. A small plaque sits where the light meets the base. The Fresnel glass shows some small black specks from age, giving it authentic character from its working history.

This light’s solid brass build and thick glass help it endure years of service at sea. It still works well and remains in excellent condition. Use it on desks, nightstands, entryways, or other spaces where you want a practical, maritime-style light.

Wiring:

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area. Accessing the bulb area is a breeze, requiring a simple twist of the threaded cap, while the wiring conveniently exits through the bottom of the light via the brass post.
