Brass Nautical Post Light with Green Fresnel Lens

This salvaged brass nautical post light comes with a green Fresnel lens that once helped guide ships at sea. The lens remains in excellent condition, offering clean optics and a vivid green color. The brass base shows no patina and holds up well, likely due to good care or recent polishing.

Above the base, the brass housing shows dents and marks from years of use on the water. The lid handle has a slight bend, and the top includes stamped markings: “TEF 910 FT” and “Lanterne.” These marks likely point to European origin and add to the piece’s authenticity.

We’ve fully rewired this post-mounted light, so it’s ready for installation. Use it outdoors, in entryways, or in any space needing a functional piece of maritime history.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, making it compatible with any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb or Edison-style LED bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
