Brass Marine Fresnel Light – Salvaged PERKO Fixture

This brass marine fresnel light came off a working vessel and features a clear Fresnel lens that diffuses light more evenly than standard marine fixtures. The lid bears the engraved marking “PERKO,” identifying the original manufacturer. Made of solid brass, the fixture shows natural patina from its time at sea but remains in solid, functional condition.

The clear Fresnel lens sits firmly in place and offers a unique pattern of light spread. While small chips may exist due to its age, the lens remains fully intact. You can access the bulb by loosening the three brass thumbscrews on the lid. We’ve already installed wiring, so it’s ready for mounting and use right away.

This light works well on outdoor posts, along docks, or indoors for anyone looking for a practical nautical detail.

Wiring:

The light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including weatherproof wiring with a ground wire and a porcelain bulb holder. It is rated for any voltage under 250 volts and fits a standard medium base LED or Edison bulb. The wiring exits through the base for straightforward installation.
