Looking for that one of a kind piece to add a true coastal living look to your home? This project was created here in our South Carolina workshop. We started out with an original 1950’s Russell and Stoll cast brass nautical light that measures 13 inches tall. The brass light has been┬ámounted to a teak wood grate that measures about 10 1/2 inches square and then attached to an aluminum pedestal. The aluminum pedestal base was then wrapped with 3/8 rope to give that right nautical look.

The finished product stands 46 inches tall. The light was rewired and fitted with a UL-Listed bulb socket that takes a normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. We also installed a new on and off switch that is hidden on the back side of the light. Also on the back side of pedestal base, we installed a 6 foot pre-wired plug. In other words, when you unpack this light from the shipping box, all you need to do is install your bulb and plug is in. One last note, changing the bulb requires no tools, the top section of this light spins on and off very easy.

If you are all about decorating your home with designer quality products that can’t be found at one of those big box stores, I promise you this is the light you for you!

Our in house workshop has build customs lights for movie sets, restaurants, and hotels. Why not shop where the professional shop, and end up with a finished product that will be a focal point of your room.
