This stunning pair of copper double stack navigation lights measures 17 inches tall x about 9 inches wide. We have installed copper plugs in the two original conduit openings on the sides. These lights weigh about 9 pounds each.
The red and green lenses are in very good condition with no chips!
We have installed new UL Listed bulb fixtures and wiring, including a ground wire. Rated for up to 250 volts. The bulb fixtures can take up to 100 watt light bulbs. We have added a 6 foot black electrical cord so the light can sit on a flat surface.

I found this three piece set of vintage oil burning lights together at the shipyard, but I am not 100% sure if they were made by the same maker. The center light has the makers’ mark “Ahlemann and Schlatter Breman”. The left and right hand side lights do not have a makers’ mark, but they may have been made by “Luz De Navegaco BB”.
These three vintage oil burning lights are about 19 1/2 inches tall each. The left and right lights are made to fit into a corner. Measuring from the point of the corner back to the curved front, each measures 11 inches deep. As you look at them from the front, they are 13 inches wide. The fresnel glass is clear, but there are red and green inserts on the inside that makes them look red and green. The inserts can be removed and they are clear in color. The center light has a flat back, and measures 9 1/2 inches wide. The glass lenses are in very good condition but need some cleaning up. The oil burners look complete but have not been tested for working condition or leaks. You may need to replace the wicks and/or do some additional cleaning to them if you want to burn them.
The main housing of these lights is made of galvanized iron and the top covers are all three made of copper. The lights have surface rust and have been clear coated. The center light has some rust through on one corner on the bottom side (see photos). The right and left hand lights have no rusting through. The center light is missing part of the latch that holds the back access door closed. These lights may have some minor dents, dings, and scrapes that are not totally visible in the attached photos.

This vintage galvanized German made oil burning lantern has a nice weathered look, but no rusting through! It was made by “Ahlemann and Schlatter Bremen”. Most of the housing has surface rust and has been clear coated. The main housing is made from galvanized iron and the top vent cover is made from copper. As shown in the photo to the left, this lantern is 17 inches tall with the top handle in the down position. The fresnel glass lens is in very good condition, but could use some additional cleaning! Not 100% sure, but I would call this a 145 degree lens. This is a flat back housing with the back side being 7 1/2 inches wide. From the curved front of the lantern to the flat back, it looks to measure about 7 1/2 inches. This German made oil burning lantern weighs just over 8 pounds.
The back side of this lantern has a door that gives easy access to the oil burner. The burner assembly looks complete, but it has not been tested for working condition or leaks, and will need some cleaning if you really want to light it up. The oil burner will need a new wick. The back access door has a slight bend in it, and as you can see in the additional photos, it has a small gap at the bottom when closed.
This is an original German made oil burning lantern that was recovered from a salvage yard operation. This lantern may have some minor dents, dings, and scrapes that are not totally visible in the attached photos. The housing does not show any signs of rusting through.
