Weathered Brass Wall Sconce with Red Globe

We salvaged this short arm brass wall sconce from a working vessel. It shows natural patina from years of sea exposure. The top includes the markings “WISKA” and “1131,” which confirm its shipboard origin.

The red glass globe is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It fits inside a heavily weathered brass cage. A triangular base supports the short arm and mounts flush to the wall. Weighing just 4 pounds, it installs easily on most surfaces.

Originally, crews used fixtures like this in narrow corridors or engine rooms. Today, it fits well in modern spaces that favor industrial or maritime design. You can install it indoors or outdoors. We’ve already rewired it for modern electrical setups.

Wiring:

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
