This vintage ship salvaged Hallborn brass nautical light measures about 8 1/2 inches long from the back of the mount plate down to the tip of the cage, and will extend out from the mounting surface by about 7 inches. The back mount plate measures 5 1/4 inches wide.
We have installed two copper plugs in the original conduit holes on either side of the light. This vintage Hallborn brass nautical light weighs almost 5 pounds.
We have installed a new UL-Listed bulb holder and wiring. The wiring and bulb holder is rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts, and the bulb holder accepts a normal screw-in bulb of 75 watts or less.
Big Ship Salvage scours the world for nautical antique lights, décor and other items related to the Nautical Life. Brass, copper, stainless steel and sometimes aluminum materials are used to make-up the vintage lights that we find. We soda-blast the old paint off, remove the old wiring and polish before they arrive in our warehouse. Then, we rewire with UL listed bulb sockets and wiring harnesses and get ready for purchase. They are now ready to warm your home, business or restaurant with that nautical feeling we all desire.
