Salvaged Brass Wall Sconce with Ribbed Glass

This Ribbed Glass Salvaged Brass Wall Sconce brings authentic maritime lighting into a home or commercial space.

Originally used aboard a ship, its downward-facing design provided dependable illumination along passageways and working areas.

The solid brass housing and protective cage help shield the decorative glass globe. Vertical ribs surround the globe, while concentric circles accent its rounded end.

The brass shows dings, scratches, and surface wear from maritime use. However, the glass remains in good condition.

We rewired the fixture for modern use. It works indoors or outdoors when properly installed.

Today, this compact wall sconce suits hallways, bathrooms, covered porches, bars, restaurants, and coastal interiors.

Wiring:

We rewired this light using all-new UL-listed components, including a medium base socket and ground wire rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The wiring exits from the back of the mounting plate, and you can use a standard base LED bulb or an LED Edison bulb, depending on how much light you want.
