Nautical Wall Sconce – Brass (Brass Cover)

This brass nautical wall sconce came off a working ship. We rewired it for standard home use using UL-listed parts. You can mount it on any flat wall—indoors or outdoors. It works well on porches, near entryways, or inside as accent lighting.

To protect the fixture from the elements, we’ve included a solid brass rain cap that measures 8.75″ in diameter. This cap adds both function and a classic marine look.

The body features polished solid brass and a thick clear glass globe. A screw-on brass cage stamped “OCEANIC” locks over the globe and keeps the lens secure. That marking highlights the fixture’s origin and adds character for anyone who appreciates true ship salvage.

Because it’s weather-resistant, you can install this sconce outdoors year-round. It also pairs easily with standard, LED, or Edison-style bulbs.

Wiring:

This sconce has been re-wired with UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for voltages up to 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED or LED Edison bulb to adjust the brightness according to your needs.

The wiring exits through the back of the wall mount, and the socket can be accessed by unscrewing the brass cage.
