#P1-06 is a super polished brass wall sconce that has been salvaged from a once working vessel. After an extreme amount of polishing, the paint has been stripped away to reveal a beautiful brass wall light. The cage is threaded and can simply be twisted to reveal the glass globe, which can be removed to access the bulb fixture. The mounting plate has four holes. There is an inscription plate that has Mandarin wording on it with electrical information.
Mount Plate Diameter: 4.05″
Weight: 6.1 lbs.
We have rewired this light to include a ground wire and a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that is rated for up to 250 volts. The new bulb holder takes a medium base bulb of 75 watts or less.
We take the time to meticulously package our items to ensure safe delivery.
Big Ship Salvage scours the world for nautical antique lights, décor and other items related to the Nautical Life. Brass, copper, stainless steel and sometimes aluminum materials are used to make-up the vintage lights that we find. We soda-blast the old paint off, remove the old wiring and polish before they arrive in our warehouse. Then, we rewire with UL listed bulb sockets and wiring harnesses and get ready for purchase. They are now ready to warm your home, business or restaurant with that nautical feeling we all desire.
