Typically these Daeyang brass dock lights are called nautical bulkhead lights or passageway lights. If installing in a wet environment, the glass globe must point towards the ground, or you may get minor condensation inside the housing. If your project is dry, you can mount these brass nautical lights with the glass pointing up or down.
These Daeyang solid brass dock lights each weighs just under 5 pounds. They measure about 10 inches tall. The wall mount is 3 5/8 inches wide and has four mount holes. They will extend out from the wall by just over 5 1/2 inches. The cage is around 4 inches wide and 6 inches long.
The brass cage is marked with Daeyang on the outer edge, so I looked the company up before listing. Daeyang has been manufacturing quality marine/nautical lighting out of Korea since the 1970’s.
We have rewired these nautical lights, including a ground wire, and a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that is rated for up to 250 volts. The new bulb holder takes a common screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less.
Use these solid brass dock lights anywhere outside – they were made to weather the storm.
