Brass Wall Sconce with Ribbed Globe

Description
We salvaged this brass wall sconce from a working vessel. It has the patina and wear you’d expect after years at sea. The top is stamped with “WISKA” and “1131,” which confirms its shipboard origin.
The ribbed clear glass globe fits securely inside a solid brass cage. The globe has some white paint residue, while the inside rim of the cage shows traces of red paint. These marks tell the story of real ship use — not a reproduction.
A triangular back plate supports the short arm and mounts flush to most walls. We’ve already rewired the light for modern electrical setups, so it’s ready to install. You can add the brass adapter plate to help with mounting to your wall. It weighs just 4 pounds, which makes it easy to handle during mounting.
Originally, ships used these fixtures in narrow corridors or engine rooms. Now, they work well in homes or businesses that lean toward industrial or maritime design. Whether you place it indoors or outdoors, this wall light keeps its rugged, authentic character.
