Brass Wall Light with Red Glass Globe

This authentic brass wall light comes from a salvaged ship fixture, carefully restored for modern use. Ships originally used this light with a protective paint coating. After recovery, we soda-blasted the paint to reveal its natural brass finish. We also removed the outdated wiring and installed UL-listed wiring, making it safe for residential and commercial spaces.

The red glass lens is a defining feature, once serving as a portside (left) navigation light on ships. Its deep, vibrant hue adds a maritime touch, making it ideal for coastal homes, themed spaces, or unique décor.

Wiring:

We rewired this light with UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for up to 250V. For the best lighting experience, we recommend using an LED Edison or standard LED bulb, allowing you to adjust brightness as needed.

The wiring exits from the back of the wall mount. To access the socket, unscrew the threaded brass cage and remove the glass globe.
