This fascinating piece is an A. Robinson Engine Order Telegraph. This is on consignment from a private collector from the Great Lakes region. It’s in wonderful condition – although the handles only move 40% of the intended 100% movement range. We’re looking into this but wanted to get the listing live. The writing on the face of the telegraph is in English but there is an Asian language on the top of the brass housing.

Telegraphs are used for communication between the bridge or pilothouse and the engine control room. This item is perfect for the collector or as a unique conversation piece.
