Aluminum Pendant Light with Hood

This Aluminum Pendant Light with Hood Was originally used to illuminate ship passageways and work areas. We updated it for modern use while keeping its nautical character. The aluminum hood measures about 18.5 inches and features a matte cream interior with visible wear from sea service. It helps shield the glass from direct rain and also adds a classic marine look.

We paired the hood and light to create a one-of-a-kind fixture. You can choose either a 12-inch or an 18-inch down rod. Since the rod is galvanized steel, it will develop surface rust over time. The clear glass globe provides bright, even lighting. This compact pendant works well on its own or installed in a row.

Because of its durable design, you can use it in kitchens, bars, covered patios, or commercial spaces that want real nautical lighting.

Wiring:

We rewired this pendant with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium-base socket and ground wire. We recommend using a standard bulb, an LED bulb, or an Edison-style bulb. The fixture is rated for any voltage under 250 volts.

The wiring exits the light via the downrod. Access the socket fixture by spinning off the threaded cage and removing the glass globe.
