The artist behind this piece took a large scrap pile of painted wood and cut it down into the slivers shown here, perfectly arranged into a burst of colors. The wood itself will have some filled in nail holes, and other surface wear that might be expected with a working wooden boat. The frame is solid, and has hanging hardware is already installed, you can hang it right out of the box.
