Vintage Wood Carved Grouse by Chris Olson | 1994-95 Ducks Unlimited Special Edition

Nautical artwork takes all shapes and forms – and during the 80’s and 90’s, one of those forms that became popular were hand carved wood decoys, painted with exquisite detail. Artists were able to take their skills and provide collectible wooden animal carvings to areas where people remembered duck hunting.

Mostly these artists stayed within duck carvings, but every now and then they would produce other animals.
