You are looking at a Large Oval Wood Block Pulley Table Lamp. This is a very large heavy lamp. It is an excellent example of custom work that can be created from simple nautical items to make an exquisite piece.
The lamp is in pretty good condition but as you can see from a photo there is some wood off the block pulley. It does not or will not hinder the function of the light.
This would be a perfect light for anyone who loves nautical items! It would look great in an office or den area too!
