Product Description:

This is a picture of the 1935 S S South American Crew. The S.S. South American was a Great Lakes Steamship. It was known as the Queen of the Inland Seas. Built-in 1913 for the Chicago, Duluth & Georgian Bay Transit Company, the 96-meter longship had five decks and weighed 2,662-tons. It was first launched on February 21, 1914

On the frame, there is a plaque that has S.S. South American 1935.  The glass is broken but the picture is in good shape.

This picture would be a great addition for someone who collects nautical items from the Great Lakes! Maybe when you look at this picture of the 1935 S.S. South American Crew you just might know someone who belonged to your family!
