This pair of Barient 22 single speed stainless steel manual winches were made in the USA. The Model 22s were first made in the late 60’s and were later revised as the “New A” and “New B”. Barient is no longer in business.
Dimensions
The tops of this pair of Barient 22 single speed winches are 4 3/4″ in diameter, the drums are about 10″ in circumference, the bases are 5 1/2″ in diameter, and they are just over 5 1/2″ tall from the mounting surface. Each winch weighs almost 18 pounds. They are painted black except for the tops.
Both winches were cut off the deck of the boat and have the wood attached.
