This is the Vintage MV. KT 06 – TG. Priok Life Ring. This life ring was salvaged from a ship that was being torn apart for scraps. Tanjung Priok is the busiest and the most advanced Indonesian seaport. MV. KT 06  is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 1994 and was sailing under the flag of Indonesia. The markings, MV. KT – TG. Priok, is visible on one side, and 06- TG. Priok on the other side. The rope in the photos seem to be the original, since it bears signs of wear and tear, even exhibiting patches where it has been mended.

The paint is chipping off and the reflector strips are coming done as well. It’s important to note that this item is offered in its current condition.  Its presence adds a distinctive charm to any nautically-themed space, infusing character and a sense of seafaring heritage.
