Description

This Salvaged Wila Ship Life Ring comes from the WILA, an oil and chemical tanker built in 1997 that sailed under the flag of Liberia. The ship was 109 meters long and 18.6 meters wide before it retired in 2020.

The life ring is polyethylene and painted orange. One side reads “WILA Monrovia,” while the reverse simply shows “WILA.” It also carries real signs of use, such as paint chips and surface wear. In addition, the rope and reflective tape are still intact, which adds to its authentic character.

🚢 Important: This life ring is for decorative use only. It is not suitable for safety purposes.

Features:

  • Salvaged life ring from the WILA (1997–2020)
  • Orange-painted polyethylene with white lettering
  • Marked “WILA Monrovia” on one side, “WILA” on the other
  • Original rope and reflective tape intact
  • Authentic wear with paint chipping and surface aging

As an artifact of maritime service, this life ring makes a striking piece of nautical décor. Whether hung in a boathouse, displayed poolside, or featured in a coastal restaurant, it carries a real connection to seafaring life..
