Salvaged CHEVAL BLEU Life Ring – Portsmouth

This salvaged CHEVAL BLEU life ring came from a crude oil tanker built in 1995 and taken out of service in 2022. While the ship’s final name was FRONT SPLENDOUR, this ring still shows its earlier name: “CHEVAL BLEU,” along with “PORTSMOUTH,” both painted in black.

It’s made from bright orange polyethylene by Perry Buoy, a trusted name in marine safety. The original rope remains attached, and the surface has light scuffs and marks from time at sea. These signs of use give it real character and vintage appeal.
