SACOOR Zanzibar LifeRing

You are looking at a Sacoor Zanzibar LifeRing. This lifering was salvaged from a ship that was being torn apart for scraps.

SANCOOR is an Oil Products Tanker registered and sailing under the flag of Tanzania.  Zanzibar is one of the Indian Ocean islands. It is situated on the Swahili Coast, adjacent to Tanganyika (mainland Tanzania)

The lifering has the words SACOOR and ZANZIBAR on both sides of the ring. It looks at one point the name Sidra was on the ring and also 3 EWG 9 was found on it.  As you can tell from the photos this lifering is pretty beat up. The rope is also the original one.
