Vintage Kelvin & White Constellation Magnetic Compass

Behold the Vintage Kelvin & White Constellation Magnetic Compass! This is a unique item, in that most Kelvin & White Constellation weren’t set into a brass housing like this. In fact, this also has two compensating balls of iron, to help compensate the compass like the traditional large binnacle would have. It is made out of solid brass.

On the ring of the compass, you will find the words KELVIN WHITE CONSTELLATION, and the Patten Number: 2428346.  There is also a plaque on the binnacle part that reads Frank Morrison & Sons Co., Cleveland Ohio.
