Vintage Nippon Zosenkikai Ship Telegraph – Aluminum & Iron

Description
This Vintage Nippon Zosenkikai Ship Telegraph is an authentic piece salvaged from a vessel built in 1986. It once connected the bridge or pilothouse to the engine control room, and it played a vital role in shipboard communication.
The top is aluminum, while the heavy base is iron. Because it was built for life at sea, the body shows natural signs of service. The lever feels stiff to move, and the internal bell no longer rings. We have not tested the unit for full function, so we offer it as a display piece.
Collectors value Nippon Zosenkikai instruments for their quality and connection to Japanese shipbuilding history. Today, this ship telegraph also works well as a decorative statement in homes, offices, or restaurants.
