This is a Nippon Zosenkikai 1979 Engine Order Telegraph. Their main focus is the manufacturing of search and navigation equipment. This authentic ship’s Engine Order Telegraph was salvaged off a ship being scrapped. This telegraph was used for communication between the bridge or pilothouse and the engine control room.
This telegraph has a black rubber handle and a brass plaque on it. The plaque was placed upside down and is very hard to read. It also has NIPPON ZOSENKIKAI CO., LTD. TOKYO on both sides of the telegraph.
A great conversation piece for any nautical collector!
