This authentic 1977 Seiki Marine Magnetic Compass is still in good working condition! Founder Itaro Nunotani was regretting that no magnetic compasses had been produced in Japan yet, so in 1892, he opened up the Nunotani Compass Factory in Osaka. To this day, they are still producing high quality nautical equipment for people all over the world.
The box containing the magnetic compass measures 11.75″ in length and width. The box is only 7.25″ tall. The total weight of this item is 27 pounds.
Big Ship Salvage scours the world for nautical antique lights, décor and other items related to the Nautical Life. Brass, copper, stainless steel and sometimes aluminum materials are used to make-up the vintage lights and maritime antiques that we find. We soda-blast the old paint off, remove the old wiring and polish before they arrive in our warehouse. Then, we rewire with UL listed bulb sockets and wiring harnesses and get ready for purchase. They are now ready to warm your home, business or restaurant with that nautical feeling we all desire.
