Impressive Brass Spyglass on Brass Tripod

Dr. William Squires is a U.S. Navy Veteran who began his collection of nautical artifacts & antiques in 1967, while he was serving on the USS Yorktown. While living near Cleveland, he was a member of the Catawba Island Yacht Club for 22+ years. The time has come for him to downsize his collection while moving homes.

This item is an impressive brass spyglass that Dr. Squires purchased in 1984 while traveling in Paris, France. The perfect item to sit in your office overlooking the waterfront. The brass tripod is solid and heavy. There is a chain to connect the three mounting legs, which also have a rubber foot to keep it steady.

The spyglass works, and comes detached from the tripod when needed. There is a small dent in the body of the spyglass.
