Aluminum & Brass Office Display Telegraph 1993 Dong Won Electric Co.

This is a heavy duty electric telegraph for marine use, produced by Dong Won Electric Co. in 1993. This company was founded in 1983 in Busan, Korea. While some of our aluminum telegraphs are lightweight, this one is not. Tipping the scales at nearly 65 lbs, this is an impressive piece of machinery. Potentially our most modern telegraph to have salvaged from a ship, the unique design could attribute to that fact. This caught our eye immediately, measuring 15.25″ in depth, it doesn’t have a slim profile.

A polished brass plate near the manufacturer’s plate coupled with the pair of brass handles, this is a great display piece. One side of the transmitter currently moves the hand accordingly with the lever while the other one does not.
