Description

This salvaged brass porthole is an authentic piece of nautical history, pulled from a smaller vessel such as a yacht, Chris Craft, or Lyman boat. It features a weathered, rustic finish with exposed brass and remnants of its original paint. Years at sea have given it a natural patina and worn texture.

This particular porthole includes its original screen, which has several tears and will require repair if functionality is important for your project. The screen’s condition is clearly shown in the product photos for reference.

The porthole has one dog (latch) to secure it shut and a deep inset of 1.75 inches, making it easier to place in a wall or door. It’s a solid, functional piece for decorative use, repurposing, or collecting.

Ideal for maritime-themed decor or restoration projects, this porthole brings authentic character and a tangible link to life at sea.

Features:

  • Salvaged solid brass construction

  • Original screen included (torn in multiple spots)

  • One dog (latch) for secure closure

  • Deep inset (1.75″) for better fit

  • Rustic finish with paint remnants

*Items without a mirror usually ship within 1–2 business days. However, if you select the mirror option, please allow 1–2 weeks for the mirror to be custom-cut and installed before shipment.
