Authentic Aluminum Ship Porthole Mirror – 21.75″ 3-Dog Design

Add a bold nautical detail to your space with this authentic ship’s porthole mirror. Salvaged from a real vessel, this 21.75-inch aluminum porthole features a classic three-dog locking design and now holds a fitted mirror insert.

We cleaned the piece while keeping its original character. All three dogs spin smoothly and frame the mirror just like they would secure the original glass at sea. The mirror sits in a 3/4 inch inset, giving the piece some depth when mounted on the wall.

Made from lightweight aluminum, this porthole mirror is easier to mount than heavier brass versions.

Because this piece was used aboard a working ship, the aluminum frame does show some marks and small dents from service at sea. This type of wear is typical for salvaged ship hardware and is part of the history of the piece.
