Description

This vintage copper starboard navigation light came from an operational vessel. The brass tag clearly shows “Starboard,” and the Fresnel lens focuses light in one direction. Crews installed lights like this on the starboard side to display a green signal at night or in foggy conditions.

The copper housing shows light wear with a clean finish. A dent on the lid doesn’t affect its ability to close securely with the thumbscrew. Three of the four corners on the base have broken, so the light won’t sit flat. The conduit on the side still holds its original wiring.

Use this vintage copper starboard navigation light in a coastal interior, a restoration project, or as display in a marine collection. It brings real character and history, even though it’s no longer certified for active marine use.

Features:

  • Brass and copper housing with minimal patina

  • Clear Fresnel lens with directional light coverage

  • Three broken base corners

  • Lid dented but closes fully

Wiring:

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
