Description
This vintage copper ship lantern comes from a working marine environment and shows clear signs of use. The solid copper body has developed heavy patina across the entire surface. As a result, you’ll see a mix of darker tones and exposed copper, especially along the lid and base.
The lantern uses a 360-degree fresnel glass lens, which allows light to pass evenly in all directions. Because of this design, the fixture works well in open spaces where visibility matters. The lens remains in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or damage.
On top of the lid, you’ll find a stamped “N.U.C.” marking. This detail helps confirm its original marine use and adds to the overall character of the piece.
You can display or install this lantern in multiple ways. It includes two built-in hanging brackets, so you can suspend it from a chain if needed. However, you can also mount it to a surface or place it as a fixed display in a room, office, or restaurant. Because of this flexibility, it works in both functional and decorative settings.
The lantern has been wired for modern use and ready for installation.
