You are looking at the Vintage Brass Nippon Sento Clear Glass Running Light that was made in Japan by Nippon Sento Co. Ltd. They are a marine supplier that has been providing lighting equipment for ships and airports since 1936. This light was manufactured in 1994.
This light can be used hanging from a ceiling, attached to the ceiling, or used as a desk light. You can see in the photos that this light is in decent shape but you may find some scratch marks and little dings in it. None of this will hinder the working condition of this running light.
The top part of this item has a plaque that has some wording such as White Light, Manufacturing number and date, and the company name Nippon Sento Co., Ltd.
A perfect light to place in a boathouse or in a room that has a nautical look to it!

Wiring
This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
