Description
This pair of brass navigation lights was salvaged from a working vessel and shows clear signs of age and use at sea. Standing 10 inches tall, both lanterns have heavy patina and wear that speak to their time in service. The tops are especially worn, with greenish and white residue on the surface, giving them a rugged, authentic look.
Each light has been rewired and is ready to use as functional decor. The fresnel glass lenses are original, with no cracks but some scratches and grime from years at sea. Both lanterns have their original metal plaques located just beneath the lens. The original conduits have been filled in, keeping the shape of the lanterns intact while making them ready for display or wiring.
If you’re looking for the real deal—not a reproduction—these are it. They’re perfect for someone after that aged, maritime feel. Ideal placements include:
- Rustic entryways
- Coastal-style living rooms
- Outdoor patios (under cover)
- Bar or restaurant décor
- Nautical-themed offices or man caves
These brass navigation lights offer practical lighting while also serving as statement pieces that carry real maritime history.
Features:
- Authentic brass ship lanterns, heavily patinaed
- Rewired and ready to install
Fresnel lenses with no cracks, only surface wear
Original ID plaques on both units
Wiring:
This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a ceramic medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard medium base LED bulb or LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
