Salvaged Pair of Brass Navigation Lights

This pair of brass navigation lights came from a working vessel and shows clear signs of age and service at sea. Each lantern stands 10 inches tall and carries heavy patina, wear, and character from years of maritime use. The tops show the most wear, with green and white residue across the surface that adds to their authentic appearance.

We rewired both lights, and they are ready for installation and use. The original Fresnel glass lenses remain intact, with no cracks. They do show light scratches and accumulated grime from years aboard ship. Original metal identification plaques sit beneath each lens. We filled the original conduit openings to preserve the lanterns’ shape while preparing them for display or modern wiring.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a ceramic medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard medium base LED bulb or LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
