Salvaged Copper Fresnel Lens Navigation Light

This copper Fresnel lens navigation light came from a working vessel. Years at sea left it with a deep patina and visible wear. The clear glass lens sends white light in every direction. Traditionally, crews mounted lights like this on the stern for night use or during poor visibility.

The housing is made from solid copper and shows signs of long-term use. While the lens has small chips and surface wear, it still sits securely in place. The hinged lid opens and little hard, and the locking thumbscrew keeps it closed. A wide handle on top adds both function and style. Also, the original side conduit still holds working wiring, making it ready for use.
