Salvaged Copper Anchor Light – 360° Glass Lens

This solid copper anchor light came off a working ship and has been restored for both functional and decorative use. It features a 360-degree fresnel glass lens with “ANKARE” engraved into the upper copper housing. The body is solid copper with a brass handle and brass wingnuts.

The glass lens has minor scratches and a few small chips from life at sea. However, none of this affects its structure or how it diffuses light. Patina and surface wear are visible on the copper, adding to its rugged, nautical look.

To access the bulb, just loosen the wingnuts and lift the lid. You can run wiring through one of three different exit points, depending on how you plan to mount it. The base has three legs, so it can be securely mounted to a flat surface.

Wiring:

We rewired this light with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium-base socket and ground wire, rated for up to 250 volts. Because of this upgrade, you can safely use a standard LED bulb or LED Edison bulb and adjust the brightness to your space.
