This is a Vintage Single Stacked Fresnel Lens Running Light! Navigation running lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern. They are required when away from the dock between sunset and sunrise and during periods of restricted visibility. This particular navigation light is white running light.
In the photos, you will see some authentic papers that were found inside the light. Just an interesting find!

The new socket is rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb holder uses a medium base bulb of 100 watts. To access the interior, you can easily loosen the looped nuts and then lift.
