This is a Vintage Single Stacked Fresnel Lens Running Light. Salvaged from a once working vessel, this light has been brought back to life as a ready-to-install nautical light. This single stack running light is made of brass and copper. In the photos, you will see some authentic papers that were found inside the light.
Traditionally, navigation running lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red light indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern. They are required when away from the dock between sunset and sunrise and during periods of restricted visibility. This particular navigation light has a clear fresnel lens.
Fresnel Lens: 6.5″ by 7″
Weight: 21 lbs.
This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
