Copper Lantern Set – Nautical Port and Starboard Oil Lamps

This matching copper lantern set includes two navigation lights labeled “Stuurboord” (starboard) and “Bakboord” (portside). A Dutch manufacturer likely produced them, and they may have served on a working vessel.

Each lantern features solid copper construction with a natural patina. The curved Fresnel glass lenses are clear and uncracked. You can open the hinged doors to access the original oil burners, which remain mounted inside.

We haven’t wired this set yet. That gives you three options: keep them as-is for display, run wiring through the bottom, or use the side conduit port.

Whether you plan to display them or wire them for lighting, this set offers flexibility. Since we haven’t polished the surfaces, the copper keeps its authentic, weathered look.
