Brass Weathered Lantern with Fresnel Glass Lens

This weathered brass lantern shows heavy patina from years of exposure in a marine environment. The brass body remains unpolished, so the original aged surface stays intact.

The lantern includes a thick glass Fresnel lens that helps distribute light evenly. The lens is currently dirty from age and storage; however, the glass has no chips or cracks. A careful cleaning will improve visibility while keeping the lantern’s original character.

Brass guard bars surround the lens and help protect the glass from impact.

Mounting and Use:

You can hang this lantern from a hook or bracket, or you can mount it directly to a wall or beam depending on the space.

Two small holes appear in the brass body—one above the lens and another below it. In addition, the lantern has one conduit opening that we have plugged.

Because of its compact size, this lantern works well in several locations. For example, you can mount it near a front entry, porch, hallway, stairwell, garage, dock, or boathouse.

Wiring:

This navigation light has been rewired with new UL-listed parts. It includes a medium base ceramic socket rated for up to 250 volts. It also has a ground wire for safe installation. We recommend using a standard LED or Edison bulb, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your space.

To access the socket unscrew the knobs and lift the lid to the side.
