Antique Copper Nautical Lantern with Fresnel Lens

Description
This antique copper nautical lantern comes from a salvaged marine vessel and shows heavy patina across its solid copper body. Ships used this style of lantern as an anchor light — a 360-degree white signal that marks a vessel at anchor during low visibility or night hours.
You’ll find the word “ANCHOR” stamped into the lid, pointing to its original purpose aboard ship. A clear Fresnel lens wraps around the body and provides full 360° visibility. The lens has a few light scratches from previous use but remains fully intact.
This lantern is not wired, so you can leave it as-is for display or wire it through the open bottom. To reach the interior, unscrew the knob on the lid and lift the top. You can hang it using the built-in handle or rest it on a flat surface.
It works well as a tabletop accent, shelf piece, or hanging fixture — especially in coastal or industrial spaces that appreciate functional salvage.
Features:
- Solid copper body with natural marine patina
- Clear 360° Fresnel lens with light surface wear
- “ANCHOR” stamped on lid — denotes anchor light function
- Not wired; open bottom allows easy custom wiring
