This is a 112.5 Degree Red Portside Navigation Light with a Fresnel Lens! Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern. They are required when away from the dock between sunset and sunrise and periods of restricted visibility. This particular navigation light is a red portside light. It would be located on the left side of the bow.
The lid on this copper light has a unique locking mechanism – a bar with a handle extends over the lid and then a screw fastens into the other side. We’ve taken a picture so that you can see what we are talking about. The Fresnel lens is in overall good condition, it does have a few small chips. It provides 112.5-degree visibility.
