This is a vintage 5 step nautical wood rope ladder we recovered from one of our salvage operations. This authentic nautical rope ladder has five teak wood steps that measure 20 1/2 inches long, about 4 1/2 inches wide, and about 1 inch thick. From the top of the rope ends to the bottom of the opposite rope ends, it measures about 70 inches long. It weights 19.4 pounds. The rope is original. We cut out a broken step and left the rope slack for decorative hanging purposes.
We have not cleaned this ladder, so you can use it in as found condition, or use a little soap and a garden hose and clean it up.
Today people are using these nautical ladders to make book shelves, spice racks, flower racks, or just a nice little set of shelves for your collectibles. While not all the ladders we offer are the top section with the original loops, you have many options to hang these ladders.
